"Rich yellow walls and plenty of ethnic artifacts give this Persian restaurant on Edgware Road a cheerful disposition and during summer the appeal is further enhanced by the opportunity to dine outside, in the very pleasant garden area. The standard mezze dishes are both fresh and delicious from the chickpea and aubergine based dips and excellent olives, followed by a good selection of grilled meats that benefit in both flavour and texture from their long, slow marinating process. What's more the name of the restaurant is taken from its specialist clay oven of the same name, that functions to ensure the bread is first class. You can bring your own alcohol. There is no corkage charge."
